ABOUT
IGNATION SPIRTUALITY
In the heart of the Ignatian tradition lies a profound belief: that God's presence is not confined to sacred spaces or moments of devotion alone, but rather, it weaves through every thought, emotion, and circumstance we encounter. Ignatian spirituality invites us into a dynamic, deeply personal relationship with God, cultivated through prayer, introspection, and attentive listening.
My Approach
My approach to spiritual direction is rooted in the understanding that true spiritual attunement requires time, dedication, and practice. Just as skilled musicians refine their craft through disciplined practice, so too does the seeker refine their spiritual discernment through regular moments of reflection, meditation, and prayer. The process of spiritual direction is an art, a labor of love that invites you to attune your heart to the subtle whispers of God's voice, resonating in the depths of your being.

Whether you are embarking on this journey for the first time or seeking to deepen your connection with the Divine, Ignatian spiritual direction offers a path to greater awareness and trust in God’s presence. As a seasoned spiritual director and supervisor steeped in the Ignatian tradition, I offer a compassionate space where you can explore, inquire, and grow. Together, we listen for how God is moving in your life, discerning the ways in which you are being called to respond with faith, courage, and love.

Meet Lori
Welcome! I'm Lori Wilson, and I have been walking alongside others on their spiritual journeys as a spiritual director since 2007. For me, spiritual direction is sacred ground—a space where we listen deeply, discern openly, and respond courageously to the movements of God in our lives.

My formation has been shaped by decades of ministry, teaching, and leadership in Catholic education, faith formation, and pastoral care. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Religious Studies, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, and I have completed extensive training in Ignatian Spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises, and Spiritual Direction Supervision through Fairfield University and Boston College and am currently starting a two year program of study entitled "Jungian Christian Dialogue.”

Beyond my academic background, my experience includes serving as a pastoral associate, theology chair, retreat director, campus minister, director of faith formation, and principal of an inner-city Catholic school. I've authored books, led retreats, and mentored spiritual directors in their formation.

But my journey isn’t just about credentials—it’s about the sacred encounters that unfold when we pay attention to God’s presence. Whether accompanying someone through the Spiritual Exercises, offering direction to those in trauma recovery, or providing supervision to spiritual directors, I believe in creating a space of deep listening, honesty, and trust.

I often find God in the quiet—while kayaking on still waters or hiking through the woods—but I also meet the Divine in the work of justice and accompaniment. My journey has taken me to the Texas-Mexico border, Haiti, Uganda, Kenya, and beyond, where I’ve witnessed the power of faith in action.

Whether you're seeking spiritual direction, retreat guidance, supervision, or a space to explore your inner life, I invite you to connect. Your story matters, and I would be honored to walk with you as you listen for God's voice in your own journey.
